The Wythe-Bland Animal Welfare League (WBAWL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of the animals of Wythe and Bland Counties by raising awareness of animal welfare through education, community service and spay/neuter assistance.
WBAWL is staffed by volunteers. We have three programs: Spay/Neuter Assistance, Friends WYTHE K9s & Felines, which cooperates with the local dog and cat shelters to save the lives of homeless animals, and Cold Nose Warm Heart pet therapy. We also network through Facebook to help animals in need of homes.
